1985 Mastec AB is founded by the Carlsson family from Sweden. Swedform AB is aquired.
1998 Swedform Metall was sold to Chatham Inc.
1999 A wholly-owned subsidiary was set up in China in response to growing globalization demands.
2001 Acquisition of the two plastics companies, Plastema and Mouldex Plast.
2002 Acquisition of Mastec Precision AB – the first machining company (formerly Remako).
2003 Acquisition of the surface treatment company CCTech AB. LPI Bolagen was acquired later the same year and merged to form one company, Mastec LPI AB.
2004 Two acquisitions are carried out; Mastec Brodalen AB and Mastec Motala AB.
2006 Start of the company’s factory in Shanghai, China. (Mastec Precision Machinery Co. Ltd.)
Acquisition of CJ Components AB, name changed to Mastec Components AB.
Tetra Pak Stålvall AB in Partille is aquired and the company name is changed to Mastec Stålvall AB.
2008 Mastec Precision AB and Mastec Components AB are merged to form one company named Mastec Components AB. Mouldex Plast AB is sold to the local MD in June 2008.
2010 Acquisition of parts of the bankrupt company Herobi AB. The company’s operations are incorporated into Mastec Plastema AB, which also retains most of the customers.
2012 Launch of the own product Flexipac and re-launch of our own product Premere.
2013 Mastec launches the Mastec core values and changes logotype on June 1st.
2014 Henrik Carlsson becomes CEO of the Mastec Group from November 1st.
2015 Mastec Frenzak Sp. z o. o. is aquired.
2016 The journey towards Lean Enterprise is started.
2021 Mastec invests in a new, modern and efficient ERP tool to meet the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
